Stator Comprehensive Testing System

Stator testing System is a specialized device used to measure the electrical and mechanical properties of a stator to ensure its quality, performance, and reliability before it is used in a motor or generator.


Stator comprehensive testing system typically perform several tests in a single step are following :

DC Resistance Testing : Detects permanent internal short circuits, open circuits or incorrect coil turns.

AC withstanding Voltage Testing : Verify that the stator generates AC voltage within the specified range when the engine is running.

Insulation Resistance Test : Assess the integrity of the insulation between the coils and ground, or between the coils themselves.

Surge Test : Detects turn-to-turn shorts between turns of the same coil, which other tests might not detect.

Rotation Test : in stator testing equipment is "essential," especially in three-phase stators or motors that need to rotate in a predetermined direction.

Partial Discharge (PD) Test : Identify latent defects in insulation that can lead to failure over time, particularly in inverter-controlled motors.

Inductance & Capacitance (L/C): Measures inductance and capacitance to ensure that the coil winding is symmetrical across all phases.
