General safety requirements for small and medium-sized rotating electrical machines

The test current of the core motor shall be measured and judged on the high-voltage side of the test transformer.
a) For motors with rated AC voltage of 1000V and below and VDC of 1500V and below, the tripping current of the overcurrent relay of the high-voltage transformer used in the test should 100 mA. When the test current is greater than or equal to 100 mA, Motor under test is judged to be broken down.
(b) For motors with rated voltages of AC 1000V or above and DC 1500V or above, the test results shall be judged in accordance with the relevant product standards.

The above image is taken from GB/T 14711-2013. It shows that the original national standard stipulated that the tripping current for the withstand voltage test should be greater than or equal to 0.1A.

The test current of the tested motor shall be measured and judged on the high-voltage side of the test transformer:
a) For motors with rated AC voltage of 1000V and below and VDC of 1500V and below, the tripping current of the overcurrent relay of the high-voltage transformer used for testing should be 1.0A. When the test current is greater than or equal to 1.0A, the motor under test is judged to be broken down.
b) For motors with rated voltages of AC 1000V or above and DC 1500V or above, the judgment of test results shall be in accordance with the relevant product standards.

The latest national regulation GB/T14711-2025 clearly stipulates that the current capacity should be greater than or equal to 1.0A, which is a significant change to the capacity requirements of withstand voltage testers.

 Open Circuit Detection Function

TES-9900H series uses low-voltage, high-frequency, lossless technology to increase the output voltage frequency while reducing the voltage level. It performs cross-sectional capacitance
detection on the tested object, determining open and short circuit conditions at the output terminal within 0.1 seconds. This effectively solves the problem that the actual leakage current of the tested object is relatively small, and high-voltage destructive testing is unsuitable under short-circuit conditions.

Provide the most professinal test solutions

High-voltage testing poses certain risks to operators. TES-9900H series has built-in leakage protection mechanism. If a user is electrocuted, the leakage current will be detected within milliseconds, and the voltage output will be cut off immediately to ensure safety.

 Arc detection function

An electric arc is a self-sustaining discharge phenomenon that occurs inside or on the surface of an insulating material due to high voltage. TES-9900H series can determine the discharge level based on the arc intensity.

 Automatic discharge function

To ensure the safety of testing personnel, TES-9900H series incorporates a residual voltage discharge
function, completing rapid discharge of the test object, especially capacitive components within 500ms. Furthermore, to address potential issues such as arcing, flashing and limited discharge lifespan during the discharge process, TES-9900H series integrates an arc-extinguishing device and a precision timed frequency conversion discharge module, ensuring both personnel safety and the instrument's lifespan.

 Information technology function

It supports USB barcode scanners, enabling functions such as barcode scanning activation, data storage, barcode binding, and information uploading. After scanning activation, test data is automatically matched with the current barcode, and the system can query the required test program based on user-defined recognition fields, automatically retrieve and complete the test
and data storage.
